The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new European wide Regulation that updates the current Data Protection Act and its contents. It is designed to give individuals more control of their data and to cover the changes brought by automated decision making and biometrics.
The GDPR has already been in force since 4th May 2016; however, full compliance is required by 25th May 2018. To support organisations, we have created a handy GDPR guide which teaches you how you can help make the printer and copiers in your organisation GDPR compliant, well in advance of 25th May 2018. With potential fines of up to €20M or 4% of your global turnover (whichever is greater), this printable guide is designed to help you ensure your copier and printer fleet are GDPR compliant.
It explains what the GDPR is, and how to best reduce the risks your copiers and printers pose in terms of GDPR and data breaches. Download and keep the guide by clicking the following link. It is free of charge.
