Integration with Windows Security and Active Directory
Once you implement a document archive and retrieval software, integrated with Windows Security and Active Directory, the permissions you set from the start will create an access structure for the users. For example, if you need to create a "Human Resources" folder structure for their scanned work, you would only ever want people in HR to see it, and maybe a handful of Management. With our solutions this type of granular security empowers departments or teams without comprimising the security of the data or usefulness of the solution.
Exisiting Windows user groups can be assigned in our solutions to control fileroom security, whether it be restriction of printing or email functionality, to zero visibility of the file(s) at all. There are also Software as a Solution (SaaS) options as well, which use a secure connection over SSL to documents stored securely and backed up into a UK based Data Centre. Security is key.
No User Account Issues
Utilising the existing Windows security protocols on your network, the solutions we provide integrate with those Windows policies, allowing the administrators to control who sees what, in only a few clicks. The storage folders remain in the control of your Network admins.
Hide Entire Volumes of Sensitive Data
If you are handling private information of any kind, the folders and fileroom structures within our solution can be controlled by security settings you specify. This can be applied to individuals, teams, even departments, so files remain confidential and classified.
Redact As You Scan
As documents are scanned in, send them to your own "In-Tray" area for review. Once in that area, you can choose to redact sections of a file before filing away. This would stop confidential material in a document being viewed, if it contains other information some may find useful.
No More Lost Keys
The only thing you will need to remember is your own login to the network, that you input probably every day of your working life. This is your virtual key to the new digitised fileroom structure. No lost keys, no security flaws with keys being copied. Secure like never before.
